I really don't know if that has already been asked or not but I believe there should be a separate page created dedicated for our Admins. I mean maybe once a week one person from the team could tell users what the team has been working on during the week. Some quests could be included or just some announcements. No one apart from Admins could post anything there. It would be a convenient way for Admins to communicate with users and more useful to just open that up and see all the important things.
It's been suggested many times. It's not a bad idea, but I'm not sure a separate forum category is really necessary if the admins make decent use of sticky threads. The bigger issue is that a forum post of any kind only reaches only a tiny fraction of users since most don't use the forums. Relying on the forums to push announcements to the users is really a bad idea. They ought to push notifications directly to the main page like they do with tree changes and other modifications.
