"Forgot password" does not work
One of my friends has a very big problem. She forgot her password and she cannot login here. She tried the "Forgot password" option, but did not received e-mail. There is no e-mail in the spam folder. Her e-mail address is correct because she got other duolingo e-mails to that address.
Her login name is kokusz_fagyi.

Hi HMikiHTH, Thanks for getting in touch! To reset your password please go to https://www.duolingo.com/forgot_password. You’ll have to enter the email you used when you signed up for your Duolingo account. We’ll send you a new password reset link. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it in your inbox. Sometimes they land there.

I think that it is an automatic reply or a lazy admin who did not read our letters and just sent a template reply. :(
I got the same reply. I followed the instructions and that procedure also did not work. I sent another email to support and have gotten nothing. I am disappointed because Duolingo is my favorite language program. I think the work that has and is being done by the Duolingo staff is excellent. I suspect support is a separate entity.
I solved the problem by using another computer and was able to get a new password by doing the steps outlined namely 'I forgot my password'. I then got the email to that computer. I used the same email address that I had used when signing up.
