In "La crisis golpea . . ." the word "anunciabamos" is translated "tittle." My question is "Huh?" Is this just a mistake?

"anunciábamos" comes from anunciar(To announce). It's the past imperfect, so the translation would be "were announcing", "used to announce", or just plain "announced".

@Kelvinsong got it almost right. It is the right tense, but it is 1st person plural and therefore you must use "were" instead of "was".

"anunciábamos"="(we) were announcing" OR "(we) announced"
