Hey everyone! I'm a 11th grade student in a USA high school. I was wondering, if I never took a spanish class in my life, but did Duolingo, would I pass the AP test with at least a 3? Thanks guys! :)
Hrm... that's a difficult question. A lot of different people can finish a tree and come out with different results. I'm a level 24 (nearly 25) but I found ways to slack and ended up knowing a lot less than several of my friends who are 24 and 25s. Not to mention, there is a lot more to Duolingo than just the course. There is Immersion, the forums for questions, the Activity feed for practice, and the various off site resources we follow up on when our community members offer suggestions. So, I think you're asking a bigger question than you realize ;)
Yeah. I try to review a lot and try to learn a lot of Duolingo too. I'm in online high school so I can learn really well. Thanks! :)
It depends. When does your school start AP level Spanish? I'm a sophomore and I don't think my school even starts AP French until French4 where you have the option of doing French4 and French4 AP, same with 5 and 6. To answer your question, I don't think so. At least if your Spanish level at your high school is similar to my French level offered at high school, you won't get through 3 or 4 years of classroom spanish with homework and tests, etc by doing duolingo in time for this coming AP test.
Yeah, I kinda figured that out by now. We start AP spanish after year 3. I'm in spanish 2 now. But, I don't have the time to get into AP spanish so I though Duolingo could help me. But, I could see what you are saying.
