Is this really the correct pronunciation of "moderne"? No one in my family (from Jutland) says it this way. It's more like "mow-DER-ne"; what I'm hearing here is "MO-ther-ne".

Definitely not correct. And it hasn't been fixed in two years.

I think it's incorrect, compared with DDO udtale: http://ordnet.dk/ddo/ordbog?query=moderne&search=S%C3%B8g Ivona is not perfect :( (www.ivona.com)

Is the pronunciation system maybe mixing it up with the correct way to say "moderne" in the sense of "the mothers"? Or would that be spelled "modrene"?

She is definitely saying 'the mothers'.

Is "modern" a word in Danish or do you have to add an "e" at the end?

It just feels like the sentence should be "Huset er meget modern"

I typed "the house is quite modern". Is "quite" instead of "very" wrong ?
