If "middag" is afternoon, then what is noon? Bedankt!
Usually middaguur or twaalf uur.
In Flemish middag generally refers to the period between noon and 2 PM or so. You might also here noen in Flemish.
Dank je veel!
Dank je Wel or dank je veel??
In the more popular destinations Amsterdam, Den Haag/Scheveningen, and Rotterdam how likely is one going to encounter people who speak Flemish? Isn't it primarily spoken on the boarder between the Netherlands and Belgium?
Mid-day is also an English word, my answer should be accepted.
Why "what" isn't correct?
Thanks for the explanation, I was to ask exactly the same!!!
I typed in the correct answer and had it rejected.
Then it's "de middag"?
