saving your daily progress

I don't know where else to ask this... I'm just starting the French program and am curious how to save your daily progress. For example, yesterday I did 6 lessons in one level and got something like 50 skill points. Today when I came back, my page said I only got 12 skill points yesterday and didn't save my spot in my level. Do I need to actually log out in order to save my progress each day? It's not a big deal, I just have to keep re-doing the lessons each day. Thanks!

Duolingo saves your skill points automatically, normally you don't need to save anything at any point.

Do you mean your Stream? the way i see it you did a total of 66 points yesterday but after 54 points you reached a new level , Duolingo shows all your achievements chronologically, and after that you did another lesson which gave you 12 more points.

Or are you asking about the week's stack of coins under "Daily progress"? This rolls over at midnight, and depending on how you computer clock is set (Canada: EST?) your skill points for the session may have split between Mon / Tue. You certainly don't need to log out to keep your skill points.

Yes, it was the coin stack. Thanks - I didn't think about the EST vs Pacific. My computer is set to PST.
