463 streak in Irish (on iOS app)

I was excited to download the update for the iOS app that supports Irish, since the app is more convenient for me and I use it for German and Spanish. When I ran it, I was amused to see that it claims I have a 463 day streak in Irish (that's 1 year, 3 months, and 6 days ago, or July 15, 2013). If I recall correctly, the announcement that Irish would be developed in the incubator was only about 8 months ago (?) and it went live, maybe a month or two back, right?

That is your overall streak. It carries over until you set a goal in the app.

And we all know what happens when you set a goal in the app... ;-)

Indigestion?

I did wonder - it used to be the case that anytime you changed a goal in iOS, your streak for that language was reset to zero - is that still the case, and does that also happen with the new coach in the webapp?

Because that definitely caused me indigestion when my Spanish streak lost over 200 days because I was poking around in the iOS coach feature when it was introduced. I'm too chicken to test it in the web app.

I'm not touching it anywhere... It was bad enough deciding whether to update the app at all, just in case :-/

The streak actually used to be saved, but now we cannot even remove the Coach (ugh) from the iOS app, nor online.
