The words that pop up when you hover over Jorden indicate that "the land" is an acceptable translation. It gets marked incorrect, though. Is there a reason the land is not acceptable in this context?

As far as I know many Germanic language use the same word for soil, ground, land, the world and the Earth etc. So, "the land" may be a correct translation in general, but rather not in this case.
