Hello! Can you help me please?
What is the difference between site and place?
Site is used in more specific cases, and is generally a place where something specific occurs, occurred, or can be expected to occur. For example, a construction site is somewhere where construction occurs. The place that a crime occurred might be called a crime site, or the site of a crime (although you'll usually hear scene of a crime or crime scene instead). You could refer to where a wedding ocurred as a wedding site. Sometimes, site is made into a compound word: campsite, website.
