It will be of great help if users could download the words they already knew in html, or txt file. I'm learning Spanish and French. I'm supposed to already know 805 words, but I feel I should practice more beyond duolingvo, so I made up my mind to print out the vocabulary and learn it by heart any time offline. But the only way I can do it is copying the words one by one from the site into the MS Word file. It takes loads of time! So, I will highly appreciate the new feature that will help me to download my vocabulary as a single file. Who is with me here?
Download Quizlet app and search Duolingo and the language your learning and people have already set Quizlets for each section of Duolingo. Makes for quick easy review!!
Yes, you can do that. This might help: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/1292786
Or maybe this? https://github.com/mrjogo/DuolingoVocabExporter
(I got all those by googling "duolingo.com export vocabulary")
Edit: This is what I used, doesn't give you the translations but it's better than rote transcribing: http://www.reddit.com/r/duolingo/comments/2el32h/get_your_duolingo_learned_word_list/
It didn't work. And after all, most of doulingo users are more used to GUI interface and are no geeks. All we need is just a cute looking button somewhere on the top saying, like, "Press here to download your vocabulary".
Think of it as learning the very basics in another language. Because it is, and you don't need to do any more than skim to locate the correct spot and how to copy-paste.
Ah! I found the link I used: http://www.reddit.com/r/duolingo/comments/2el32h/get_your_duolingo_learned_word_list/
Honestly, super easy. I know people prefer a button but in lieu of that...just follow the directions.
I wrote down my completed list of French words, and posted it here:
