I am assuming the difference between 'kender' and 'ved' is similar to the spanish 'saber' and 'conocer'? (One is factual, the other is familiarity.) Is that correct?

Does skuespilleren mean just the actor in theater, TV, so someone who performs a role, or does it extend to someone who performs an act for example an actor of a terrorist attack. Thank you in advance. Leon

Skuespiller is only a theater/TV/film actor.
