Why is "Danmark" capitalized in this sentence? I thought country names should be written in lower case in Danish

Same q: Why is Denmark capitalized in this case?

Entry time "Danmark" is used a second, uncapitalized form is also offered, as though this would be an error. It should, of course, be capitalized, but here "vi" isn't capitalized, even though it begins the sentence. Duolingo doesn't usually distinguish or mark off for capitalization errors. So why does it keep offering both forms of Denmark in every exercise?
