Does this sentence make sense? (spanish)
voy a estudiar aquí porque no puedo ser molestado a cambiar-
i am trying to say i will study here because i can't be bothered to change
I'm not sure you can literally translate the "I can't be bothered" to spanish.
maybe I'd say "no vale la pena a cambiar/a cambiarlo" which means "its not worth the trouble to change it". It's a figure of speech.
I would write, "Estudiaré aquí porque no me puedo molestar para cambiar." but I`m not a native speaker.
I don't understand what you mean. "My" source is a comparison between "many" translations from different texts. I trust it because I really doubt ever single one of them is wrong.
Because I'm a native Spanish and not English speaker I rely on sources like this when I'm not sure. In the end my translation is just a suggestion.
cuando alguien dice "i can't be bothered to change" significa si que le molesta el cambio.
