My Other account won't log in. With Correct Password and Username.

No Matter what I do I cannot get my other account to work. It seems to be deactivated. When I try to log in it it simply cycles back to the "Begin Here" screen with no error or message. When I try to log into my andriod app it will work for a second then just log out. The username says [deactivated]. Can someone from support please reactivate my other username and account?

Hello! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble getting into your Duolingo account. I think the quickest way that you'll be able to get help is, instead of posting here, by going to this link and scrolling to the bottom until you see a button that says "contact us." Click on that, and then fill in the form.

I have already tried doing that over ten times. I only made THIS account so I could write a post on the forum. I have yet to hear any response from duo lingo every time I submit a support ticket. I have been trying to reach them for MONTHS and dont know what else to do.

Hi Baritone01,

Please only send one support request per subject of inquiry. There are 50 million users and 32 staff (not all of whom work in support.). When people send more than one request, it makes the wait line for everyone else much longer. I would imagine that similar actions by others have affected your wait time as well.

I'm not staff, so I cannot re-activate your account. However, maybe the below information will help you understand what happened.

If your account has been deactivated, it is possible that you violated either the Guidelines and/or the Terms of Service. Please read through those in case that is what happened. By following the guidelines you can prevent your current account from being deactivated. Another possibility is that you deactivated your own account. (There is an option in your settings to do so. I'm not trying to imply that you did, just pointing out that the possibility exists.)

Yea. I know I have been following the guidelines. I was one of the first people to use duo lingo w.e it was first coming out and then have not used it for a couple of years. I understand if my account has been deactivated since i didn't use it for so long. But cant I then use my email or user name to open another account? That's the only issue I have with it. I wouldn't mind opening a new account but the user name and email is what I use for everything else and we all know how confusing it gets having multiple emails and usernames for different things.
