when, where and how i use ear? and listen? what is the different betwenn this words...
ear is the part of the human body wich we use to hear, listen is used like : I'm listening to a song, Hear : I cant hear you! could u speak louder ? listen to me girl , or boy ... you are in the correct way, path, wish to lear , u cant lost it!
EAR: either of the two organs of hearing, one on each side of the head. - by ear: without written musical notes - "You play the guitar by ear. HEAR: to receive and understand (sounds) by using the ears. LISTEN is to hear with attention. - See a dictionary, you'll find all the definitions. Good Luck.
"EAR" ("Orelha") is a noun (body part) and "Listen" ("Ouvir") is an action. Eg: "I have big EARS" ("Eu tenho grandes orelhas") as a noun, and "i love to LISTEN this music" ("Eu amo ouvir esta música") as an action. The same thing happend in spanish: "OREJA" ("Ear") noun (body part) and "ESCUCHAR" ("Listen") is an action. Cheers!
acho que voce quis dizer sobre a diferença de usar as palavras LISTEN e HEAR. Como o pessoal disse abaixo, EAR é orelha, porém, HEAR significa escutar/ouvir, assim como LISTEN. Não sei lhe dizer se há ocasiões específicas para se utilizar cada uma, porém, pelo menos dentro dos exercícios aqui do duolingo, ambas estão sendo usadas no mesmo sentido.
