What is the difference between "o muro" and "a parede"?

Muro has no ceiling over it. So inside a house you have paredes. What separates your house from your neighbor's is um muro

What is fence then?

Fence = cerca

You said "What separates your house from your neighbor's is um muro" is that not a cerca? How do I tell the difference?

For us, muros are made of bricks and cercas are made of wood or wires. (Barbed wires, maybe).

It's the same in Spanish: muro and pared

For German speakers: Muro = Mauer, Parede = Wand.

The original picture shower a castle turrets and all. Not a wall. Please sort out this module. The lamp/light/bulb fiasco has got my knickers in a cross twist too. Please show the correct drawing in the first place....
