Should 'plattorna' be accepted?
'Platta' = 'plate' generally speaking but never when referrring to the flat-ish thing you eat food from - then it's almost always 'tallrik' (never 'platta').
Ok, tack ;)
Why is tallrikerna not correct? Following the rules tallrik has stress on final syllable, ie tallriker. Although tallrikar is considered correct
Tack så mycket
I cannot find en tallrik in plural tallrikar following the general guidelines (in plural/tips-and-notes), it is not in one of the general rules and must be seen as a one-syllable word?
The rules on plurals with definite articles seem very confusing and I find myself guessing. Are these set out clearly anywhere?
