The ultimate Swedish Tools & Resources document

TL;DR; click this to get to the Google Doc.

I'm Sanna, a native Swede who myself enjoy languages and would like to give back by helping foreigners out learning our language more efficiently! :) I've created and am currently maintaining this document, and I have made some voiced Memrise courses (linked in the Google Doc).

You can post more suggestions here, or in the thread on http://www.reddit.com/r/Svenska/!

I am also making a Memrise course teaching you all en/ett nouns that will appear in this Duolingo course. Keep your eyes open for that upcoming thread!

Thank you so much for posting the link to the Malmö city library! For the past few years I've been searching for ways to read Swedish lit online for free, and everything I've found so far is so limited. This is perfect and I can't wait to check out the lists of ebooks & audioebooks.

The pronunciation worksheet is so, so wonderful. Thank you! And your Memrise courses are really good, too. I appreciate the way you present both translations and transliterations, very helpful.

This post https://www.duolingo.com/comment/5527028 and this post https://www.duolingo.com/comment/5524633 already have some suggestions and links. It would be great if one of these big collection posts could be made a sticky.

I did see the other resource thread! :) but my doc have all those links and is organized (or I've tried!).

Would you guys think a small section should be added for suggestions of Swedish music? Perhaps categorized in genres...

Make sure to include Veronica Maggio! She's my all-time favourite and I'm sure others will love her :D

I'd think yes to music. I know it works for a lot of people to help 'get in the swing' of a language:-)

Why?! You made me get to vocaloid from there... there's no going back. Btw, look up Vocaloid Two Faced Lovers on YouTube. It's not Swedish, but it may make your ears bleed. Also Caramell ftw

I would make a category for songs which are clearly pronounced, not too fast and not too difficult words for the purpose of language learning/improving. Songs like Sommaren är kort, Drömhus-Vill ha dig etc.

For the childrens movies I would add Emil i Lönneberga series. Good for children and adults and much better than the modern Disney sh..tuff.

I'm adding Swedish television series for kids/family, just haven't gotten around to do it. :P Hang tight.
