Is there a subtle differences between "para" and "a" in this context? "Nós lemos um jornal a eles", and "Nós lemos um jornal para eles" are both indicated to be correct, but I'm wondering if they are in fact exactly equivalent.

We most of time use "ler para" and not "a"

Is "Nós lemos um jornal para eles." the same as " Nós lemos lhes um jornal" ? Any difference?

"Nós lhes lemos um jornal". The meaning is the same, but this sentence would hardle ever be used by a native speaker...

"Nós lhes lemos..." is correct, but unusual.
