I appreciate the difference between 'sæt dig' and 'sid ned', but two sentences ago I had to translate 'sit down' with 'sid ned', and now 'sit down' can only be translated as 'sæt dig'. Is there any reason why 'sid ned' is not accepted here?

I went for the ambitious "Sid herned med mig" half expecting it not to be accepted and it wasn't. Can anyone tell me why (or, if) this is wrong?
