Dots on the Swedish letters of the alphabet

Can somebody tell me where are the dots on words like vatten etc. I do not want to change my keyboard each time. Thank you!

If you have a mac, press alt/option-U, then press the letter you want them to appear above.

That depends on the nationality of your keyboard and your operation system. What do you use?

You can download a Swedish keyboard, but it depends on what system you use (Windows etc). Or I believe you can use the alt system mentioned here: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/5565864

Others have probably answered your question, but I also wanted to give you some vocab so you can locate the keystrokes more easily:

äëïöü: umlauts

å: ring diacritic (though Å is an angstrom in chemistry)

ė: single dot/dot

Wikipedia's page on diacritics lists them all to the right
