"My aunt is a modern woman."
Translation:Min faster är en modern kvinna.
Swedish doesn't have the ambiguities of English in family terms such as these. We specify the exact relationship - so aunt is either moster or faster, uncle is morbror/farbror, grandfather is morfar/farfar, grandmother is mormor/farmor, niece is systerdotter/brorsdotter, nephew is systerson/brorson, etc.
Shouldn't the stress be on the second syllable? TTS currently says "MOdern" rather than "moDERN".
Was it the slow version? The fast one is correct for me.
In case anybody else wonders what the difference is:
- MO-dern = the mother
- mo-DERN = modern
