It gets better. The LA Angels (of Anaheim) = Los Los Ángeles Ángeles.

(Or more accurately, Los Ángeles de Los Ángeles. But that doesn't sound nearly as cool.)

Los A'ngeles de Los A'ngeles van a jugar mañana en la mañana. Serious question: is a female angel "una angela"? I think so. Thus, we have the popular Spanish surnames: A'ngel y Angela.

Is this a thing, where people don't notice a place name is in a foreign language and try to suss out what it means the first time they hear it? (I'm not trying to be a jerk. Just that this doesn't seem like news. If it is news, I'm actually intrigued. :)

I speak Spanish as a second language bc I'm Colombian, and to me the computer voice is really strange. It sounds really digitized.

Is this the same as the male name Ángel? Like if someone was called Ángel Gabriel would this be a tribute to the Angel Gabriel?

The sound isnt working at all for me, even though the little noises for correct answers work just fine...
