Duolingo is the most popular way to learn languages in the world. Best of all, it's 100% free!

Is duolingo still alive?

Is there a way to offer changes to translations?

many of the translations seem a bit off key, and if there is a way to help improve translations after they are out of the incubator (for example spanish for english speakers) - this may help improve the site.

Report it. It may take a long time, but the teams do look at the reported problems, and if they agree (or if enough people told them the same thing), they will change it, and send you a message accepting your change. (long time = maybe months,) (After you've checked a sentence, you will see report and discussion buttons on the lower left side.)
