Translation stats not working

All of a sudden my translation stats in the right hand column of the translation page stopped working. My name comes up, but no matter how many sentences I translate, the counter stays at 0. Can anybody suggest a solution to this problem?

We have changed what we display to you. If you see a green smiley face in the top right box, we're showing you users rated by the number of times their sentences have gotten a "Perfect" rating. Please let me know if you see a puzzle piece in the corner and it still shows zero.

There are problems with this. It discourages you by saying your score is zero even though you have not contributed anything to that document yet. Even worse, it makes it look like other people can see that your score is zero on this document.

If you aren't in the top five users we don't show you to others. However, we will always show your own score so that you can see how you compare to the top 5. Please note that before if you hadn't contributed anything to a document we would have still shown that you translated zero of the sentences.

There's a difference between told that you have translated zero sentences vs that you have received zero perfect ratings. The latter is possible even after you have translated sentences and so it is potentially discouraging even when you have not translated anything yet.

In any case, I think the UI could be improved so that there is less confusion and discouragement.

Thanks for your feedback! We've made some improvements to the UI to hopefully alleviate this confusion.
