OUR PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED
Romanian moved from 6.6 to 6.7! Thank the LORD! I hope it starts moving now.
I love you people, it's one tenth and your prayers have been answered. ;) I'm glad it's moving though, I like to see things finish.
Good luck with Romanian. I'm just interested in finishing my German tree and immersion, then hopefully be done with my tree by the time Esperanto and Romanian come out.
You still won't have one of the Romance languages I speak. I'd love to see Catalan on here! Barcelona is such a huge tourist destination it would be useful for a lot of people to know a little bit.
Yes, indeed. I would love to learn that. It wouldn't take much time at all. I knew a girl from Spain in college who spoke it and I became eager to learn it. I frequented a bookstore where I saw a Catalan dictionary, and each time I was in there it called to me. I knew no one else would buy it, so I finally did. :)
I know! Right now I'm reviewing skills and doing Immersion in French, and doing small bits of Portuguese every day. Hopefully I'll be done with Portuguese when Romanian comes out, but if Romanian isn't out, I'll go to Italian and then Spanish and by then it will hopefully be out.
Our prayers have definitely been answered, now only 10 more years to go :D
Me too. Ever since I got this script that shows the percent with the decimal, I have checked the incubator daily, and it has been 6.6 for a long time and finally it has gotten to 6.7!
This exists? The happiness is real. Now that I have this page saved, thank you so much for posting it.
Very exciting! Too bad they don't know more specifically when reverse courses will begin, but oh well, duolingo is excellent anyway!
I honestly am not interested in Romanian, but I am happy for all of you guys. :D. Also, once they finish with other ones I think it will speed up, so it might not take 10, only 5. (de_aapje)
And Turkish has gone from 98 to 94 to 91 in 24 hours.......... I'm hoping that means it's under active review and is just being fixed.
The estimated date for the Turkish and Hungarian courses are inaccurate since that percentage is about the percentage of skills they've filled in, but they're planning to add more skills later.
