Why not "we dragen kleren"?
We is also accepted, only not for listening exercises (type what you hear) as the pronunciation is different.
When translating the other way, that would be fine. That's also how the stress is placed in the audio, in that there is no stress. However, the word used is "zij", to indicate the stress that the audio then doesn't have.
I'd be concerned if we weren't wearing clothes.

Not really, clothing is kleding and clothes are kleren.
