Hoi iedereen! ❤❤❤ gaat het vandaag?
Firstly, I gotta say, after almost 6 years since learning German at school, I can safely say I have fallen in love with learning languages again. This is all down to this fantastic website (and app), which I have delightfully been a part of for a few months now and using it pretty much every day (I'm always forgetting about streak freeze!).
Over the past couple of years, I have visited the beautiful country that is the Netherlands, and I love everything about it, from the culture, the people (and how friendly and welcoming they are) and atmosphere, through to the snacks (stroopwafels, gevulde koek en suikerwafels zijn zo lekker!), the beers and the amount of bikes there are :D
But anyway, my main aspiration is to live there, but the first thing I believe that should be done before becoming an expat is to be certificated in the language, to make finding a decent job and naturalization that little bit easier. All you guys and gals here at Duolingo have made that first step so simple, I have learned more Dutch in these short months than I did with German at school :) I think that after the skill tree has been completed, some skype speaking sessions and a bit of practice, dedication and determination, a CNaVT exam will need to be booked!
Dank je wel Duolingo! Jullie zijn uitstekend! Veel succes met jullie leren Duolingoers!
EDIT: I almost forgot to say how amazing it is that Duolingo and you lovely Duolingoers value community, you are all so helpful and accommodating! I don't think I have seen a 'troll' or the like on here at all! hahaha
I'm so happy that taking the course has been worthwhile to you.
Good luck with your future expat plans!
Knowing the language at least to a B1 level will get you far. :)
Good luck with your future studies/best wishes!
