Help understanding word order?
Can someone help me understand the rule behind this?
I was supposed to translate: "What is the book about?"
My response: "que es el libro a cerca"
Correct response: "¿Acerca de qué es el libro?"
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
¿Acerca de qué es el libro? will literally translate to About what is the book? This can be rephrased as What is the book about?
For que es el libro a cerca, the literal translation may be what is the book to close.
