The best thing about the new strength bar

For me, without a doubt, it's the abilty to not fall onto my reading as a crutch for not losing stars/completing the lesson.

In the thirty minutes i have been trialing it i have focused solely to complete the sentences using my listening ability. focusing on the keyboard with a quick flicker of a glance to establish what kind of question it is (audio/english-french/french-english) then typing the answer has i can already tell boosted my (future) experience and how much i get out of duo twofold, as prior this was for me where duo was lacking so i strayed elsewhere.

P.S. A very useful tip for those of you who don't already know are the keyboard shortcuts to repeat the sentence real time - Ctrl+space,,,and slower audio - Ctrl+shift+space

edit: btw i'm apart of the bubble bar sub-group

Yeah, I love the strength bar so much more than the lives-system. It's not as frustrating when I miss one and I don't check the definitions so much anymore; it's ok to guess!

I love the new bar too. I find that if I don't know something, I just guess now. I don't spend time racking my brain or rolling over hints, trying to remember the gender of that [explicative] German noun. If I get it wrong, it will probably come up again in the lesson and I will nail that [explicative] the next time!

I have the green bar and I pity the people in the control group.
