Looking for Dutch Books!

Hi! I am looking for Dutch Books, I wouldn't like Children books, I prefer more of a novel, Maybe famous books translated into Dutch, Lengthy books or anything that has lots of new Dutch vocab. Thanks!

You could try your local library, they might have a shelf of Dutch novels if you're lucky. I'm reading Anne Frank's Diary (Het Achterhuis) at the moment, but the vocabulary is surprisingly difficult compared to other books I've read in Dutch. Lots of adjectives. Maybe as I keep reading it will get easier. As for books translated into Dutch, you can pick almost anything you want (probably nothing published in the last year but most popular books older than that seem to be translated?) I live in Belgium and my local library seems to have almost any English language novel I would want to read in both the original English and translated into Dutch, it amazes me.

If you are in the United States (I think you're in Philadelphia, right?), I'll be glad to send you some Dutch books, but if you'll either read them or pass them along to some one who will.... Message me? Can we message on Duolingo, I don't know. I need your address at any rate.
