Duolingo is the most popular way to learn languages in the world. Best of all, it's 100% free!

Listening comprehension

A few months ago someone posted a link to a site with full sentences in several languages scraped of a crowd-sourced pronunciation dictionary.

The user interface allowed you to playback a sentence, write down what you hear, see that sentence written down, and rate your performance. I've used it for Spanish, but there were other languages there as well.

If someone knows what I'm talking about, please post the url here. If you know of similar resources, do share!

I would also recommend this free Podcast site:

http://podclub.ch/fr/

Besides French, there is English, Italian, German, Spanish, and others. The MP3 goes along with the text, which highlights, and if you want to repeat any sentence, just click the text, and the MP3 automatically restarts at that point. The lessons are for A2-B1 language learners, and this is what I use to improve my listening comprehension.

Sorry, I don't know the site with the full sentences in many languages. If you're using Google, try to search your history.
