Not just the mafia. Such is the gutter level of some italian political discourse that i have heard La Russa say this on primetime TV. I found this a somewhat strong comment but was told by an Italian that it is quite a mild comment in Italy. Any Italians on here care to comment on this?

I heard "posso non morire" but, then, I was unable to produce a rational translation for it
