Just curious--do the Dutch also use "philosophy" loosely to talk about "a way of doing things" ('my philosophy for learning guitar is to start with scales and build from there') and not just in the strictly classical academic sense?
I think so, tho not a Dutch.
Wow, those non-Germanic words really start sticking out once all the -kunde's disappear.
Why was "Ik hou van filosofie" not accepted?
(Just in case anyone else comes across this question, even though I'm writing nine months after it was written: "Ik hou van filosofie" is now accepted.)
