"I ate at my parents'." ?
Then it could be your parents' apartment, party, gathering, mobile restaurant etc. The sentence specifically mentions "house".
I've eaten at my parents' house.
Is it wrong?
I would say "I have eaten" to describe something that happened a long time ago. If I say "I ate at my parents' house," I mean today.
how about " I ate at my parents' home"?
at my parents' house
PLEASE CORRECT IT, thanks
What does it say and what do you think it should say?
i put "i ate at my fathers' house" and was marked wrong. Uh-oh!;-)
