Leaderboard points decreased overnight

Yesterday I had over 1300 points in my "this week" section on the leaderboard. Today I have 1233. What happened? Anyone else with this problem? I didn't look at my total points so I can't compare those, but I happened to take a screenshot of the middle of my skill tree yesterday due to another issue.

These are your points from the last week (last 7 days). Every day you lose points which are won eight days ago.

Where do I find the leaderboard?

I see that on the right side of my tree. You have won 685 points this week, and 2749 this month.

Ah I see. I thought there is one for all duolingo members, but it's just for the friends.
