    tallerken = the plate; tallerkenen = the plates; tallerkneren = ? I answered with tallerken and was told it is wrong.


    It's a bit confusing when words already end in -en but it goes:
    En tallerken = A plate
    Tallerkenen = The plate (tallerknen is also unofficially correct)
    Tallerkener or Tallerkner = Plates
    Tallerkenerne or Tallerknerne = The plates


    that last form is a tongue twister
