Grimm - Chupacabra episode
If you watch the tv series Grimm you know they open each episode with a sentence from a story or I guess a saying. The most recent episode opens with "Cuide su rebaño, nunca deje lado. Cuide su sangré el Chupababra tiene hambre." Practice your Spanish translation, if you wish. Merry Christmas to the Duolingo community.
You made a few mistakes which were affecting comprehension. It should be: "Cuide su rebaño, nunca deje su lado. Cuide su sangre, el Chupacapbra tiene hambre."
The Grimm's GF Juliet also speaks fluent Spanish. There was a previous episode from a Spanish folk tale called La Lorena.
It was actually "la llorona" which means "weeping woman". The legend is not Spanish, but from Hispanic America.
Lorena is a given name (Lorraine in English).
I saw the chupacabra episode today. :)
I thought I should have spelled it with double L's. Thanks for clearing that up. It was a good episode. There was another episode with a creature that comes to the aid of women in trouble who are praying for help. I don't recall if that one was also Hispanic based, as well.
