Duolingo is the most popular way to learn languages in the world. Best of all, it's 100% free!

Here are a few I can think of right now: Maltese, Arabic, Yoruba, Lao, Galician, Wu Chinese, Wolof, Xhosa, Romanian, Farsi, Urdu.

Of these, Romanian is in the making. A few others, like Arabic, may be added some time in the future. Somehow I doubt that Maltese, Wolof or Xhosa will ever be duolingo languages. Whish is sad because these are languages that it is hard to find good resources for.

"Of these, Romanian is in the making." Yeah, estimated to release in 2021! :D That's what I call "in the making"! Though it would be nice if they actually worked on it... :/ Aw well, what can you do.

ALL THE LANGUAGES :P. Seriously though, Norwegian. Free tuition at universities (though you do have to show you have around $13k in a Norwegian bank so you can survive there) and its one of the happiest places in the world to be. And it has its own Seattle (albeit a bit colder) in Bergen, where it rained at some point during a day for 85 straight days at one point.

I personally write a bit of fiction and it would be nice if Duolingo adds the language my characters speak so I have a bit of ground.

In other words, I'm waiting for:

• Tagalog – Being a Filipino I actually already know Tagalog. But Duolingo may be able to help me sharpen my edges • Farsi – I gave the character based after me an Iranian boyfriend • Latin – just because

And I'm also going to dive straight into Esperanto once it finishes.

I'd like to see Croatian, Mandarin, Catalan and Greek, but really any language they add is a bonus I hope to try one day.

I'd like to see some dead languages as well, like Latin, Anglo-Saxon, Ancient Greek and Coptic.

Morse code... Never even crossed my mind to have it on Duolingo! I'd love to learn it, but it's really just an alphabet. No point in having it on Duolingo. It's like when you learn Russian, you don't buy Rosetta Stone just to learn the alphabet. XD No, you learn the alphabet, THEN learn the language.

So I'd learn Morse code other ways, on your own.

Norsk and Afrikaans for me! (Not because they're supposedly "easier than any other language", but because they're awesome languages!)

Icelandic would be cool (want to learn it after Norsk) but I'd never use Duolingo for that unless the course-makers used their own voices instead of the automated voice. Icelandic's pronunciation probably wouldn't go well with the automated voice. :P

I would really love to see Urdu. Although I learned it growing up, I have a deficit in terms of: reading (completely non-existent), romanization readings (really, it's only spoken by me), grammar (I don't really have a strong foundation, and comparing it to English or Spanish doesn't do it justice), and vocabulary (I try to be a purist and not switch to English, which is ironic as so many Urdu speakers prefer switching to English words!).

Also, as there is a Hindi option, I would think that the similarities, at least when speaking the language, would open doors for me to learn Hindi.
