I'm not so sure about the English use of the word 'agenda' in this sentence. Perhaps calendar or schedule would be better. Any English native speakers wish to comment?

Typically an "agenda" describes the flow of a single meeting, and a "schedule" or "calendar" describes a group of meetings (and other events). I don't think "agenda" is the right word for this sentence (in American English -- native speaker here). Brits sometimes have different usage, though.

As Brit I would agree that 'agenda' is not the right word here. As you said an 'agenda'' is a list of items to be discussed at a particular meeting.

Schedule is much better.

We have a schedule full of important meetings. Yes?

Although I'm not a native English speaker, I feel "We have an agenda filled with important meetings." is a much better translation.

Your translation is fine as well, but "full" is often used when talking about one's calendar or agenda. Another example is "My calendar is full".

Vergadering = gathering, easy to remember :)

What's the difference between 'vergadering' and 'ontmoeting'?

'een ontmoeting' is just two random people meeting up.

'een vergadering' is usually in an office context, where coworkers discuss the matter of the day.
