I just finished my Spanish tree and am starting to read easy stuff in Spanish. I discovered that Kindle Paperwhite, which I bought a year ago and haven't had much use for until now, has a lot of language learning tools built into it. See this fantastic link:

Before I go buy a Spanish-English dictionary for $5 or $6, is there a free one that will work with the Paperwhite?

Thanks for any tips.

I like the Collins. It occasionally has trouble finding the root verb in something like déjaselo but usually it can find whatever word I touch. It has tons of idioms and example phrases in the definitions. Greg Hullender has a really good blog and he's written a couple of excellent articles about using the Kindle for reading foreign language books. Here's one of them but his blog is worth browsing for more: http://gregreflects.blogspot.com/2014/09/how-to-read-foreign-novel-on-kindle.html

I suggest that you try to use the monolingual Spanish dictionary as you get more confident with the language.
