Android - app icon keeps disappearing

Hi,
I am using Duolingo app on Huawei Y300 (running Android 4.1.1.) and the icon keeps disappering from my homescreen after couple of minutes. Weird thing is, I can still launch the app from play store and it still is installed by every measure. I have tried rebooting the phone and reinstalling the app - to no avail. Any help would be useful.

i assume its a problem with duolingo on that specific device or the device itself. nevr experienced any problems on 3 different devices. cant tell more, sorry.
