"He drinks like she drinks."

Translation:Ólann sé mar ólann sí.

'Mar' can be translated into English as 'like' (meaning 'in a similar manner') or as 'because'.


This needs to be 'because'. On FGB, I can only find mar, using 'as'/'like' with a verb with a direct relative clause following it.. So this should be Ólann sé mar a ólann sí (He drinks as/like she drinks). The current one would have 'because'
