Sugerencia / Suggestion

First I want to say thanks to the creators of this page because it really helps me a lot to improve my English mainly the lecture and writing.

My suggestion is basically repeat the same modality of the "immersion" the idea of translate ARTICLES around the web but also add a mechanism to translate VIDEOS (putting subtitles) around the web, it will be of much utility to learn to understand the English / other languages by ear and also so that more people can understand the information of the videos.

Sorry if the English is bad I have a headache and I'm sleepy.

Videos would be great. We could add translations almost like captions

Going further, maybe high ranked Duolingers with good pronunciation and a great voice can make an oral translation of the video especially in benefit of the blind persons.

This would be amazing! I'm not sure how duolingo would handle the technicalities, but if they could work it out videos would be a really valuable resource. Great idea W-Cephei :)

Technical issues, as well as copyright issues and the "How does Duo make money doing this?" question.

Youtube has an automatic translator not very efficient, there are a lot of videos that allow the subtitles generated automatic by Youtube so with copyright there's no problem at least for that videos, Duolingo just will improve the translation of the video and translate it in more languages... And... come on there's no problem to have your video in all languages, people will enjoy it.

Maybe Youtube are searching to have an efficient method for videos translations so... $$$ maybe. A lot of media can give money for have their news videos in all languages.
