Varför säger man "känner" här, men inte "vet"? Kan man säger heller? Eller menar " känner" mot människor, som connaitre i franska?

Yes, ”veta” is for knowing facts and ”känna” is for knowing people.

Is "varandra" used for all the English uses of "Each other?" Eg., would it also be "De känner inte varandra."?

How can I tell whet to use "vet" or "kanner"? Also why this phrase cant be translated as "we don't feel each other?" since kanner also means "feel"?
