why does it pronounce de as de and not dom
i already speak swedish nearly fluently, so this is mostly for fun on my part, but why does the voice pronounce the third person plural pronoun as de and not dom? i know it can be confusing in real life, seeing "de" and hearing "dom" and all, but it's kind of confusing to learn it as "de" and not as "dom" as well, and could cause more confusion later.
i dunno!

It's a known error with text-to-speech (TTS) for Swedish that hasn't been fixed yet. The Swedish team knows about it. Unfortunately we will have to live with it until it can be fixed.

I've seen people write both de and dem as dom, which is helpful since it's a little tricky to remember which is which when they're pronounced the same way! I think back in the 60s and 70s they were thinking of changing it in another spelling reform (maybe with säga to säja and some others), but I've mostly seen it when people are typing informally.
