Lunch is a specific meal, comida = food here because it means general food.

Why demands (for requiere) is not correct?

It's the same subtle difference of "demands" and "requires" in English. In this sentence if you translate it as "The boy demands food.", then it implies that the boy is asking for the food. Whereas the correct translation, "The boy requires food.", could simply mean the boy needs food to live, get healthy, etc.

What are the rules for the accent on "El"? Sometimes it is Él and sometimes it is El.
