O mica dilema :)

Happy new year guys 1.Am ajuns la capitolul ''verbe trecut 1'' care este diferenta intre: -we have said that si -we said that

2.''have you finished the book'' de ce se mai pune si acel ''have'' ?

Thank you very much :P

  1. For your first question: 'we have said that' is for describing lots of experiences, while 'we said that' describes only one. Example- 'We have said that slowly' - has been said slowly multiple times. 'We said that slowly' - has been said slowly one time.
  2. And for your second question, 'have you finished the book' asks if you finished the book at any time, but 'did you finish the book' asks if you finished the book one specific time. So you see the 'have' is very important here. Hope that helped.

"we said" este forma pentru Simple Past(http://bit.ly/1rKAy2w) iar "we have said" este forma pentru Present Perfect (http://bit.ly/1yfUtZz) Pentru punctul doi, textul mentionat pare a fi o intrebare si formularea in opinia mea nu poate fi alta.

ok thanks dar la propozitia ''she did add salt to the soup.'' de ce se foloseste ''did'' la afirmativ nu era subiect + verb forma a 2 sau -ed iar la negativ sau interogativ se folosea did

la fel si la ''i did love that restaurant.'' nu trebuia sa fie ''i loved that restaurant''?
