It depends on the word.

  • Och is pronounced like ock. (with a k-sound)
  • Choklad and chef is pronounced with the sj-sound (like in sjuk or sjunka)
  • Chili and cheddar is pronounced with the tj-sound (like in tjuta or tjugo)

Some can vary; I say cheddar with the sj-sound as in sjuk, and in e.g. lunch people use the sj-sound in the very south, and the tj-sound in other dialects.
